The cult-favorite Philly area convenience store brand came to us with a request for their annual Hoagiefest promo: Take the psychedelic Peter Max feel of the earlier campaigns and freshen it for the 2020s. We came back with a diverse set of characters and fresh situations that breathed new life into a summer institution. A mixed media approach allowed us to incorporate the product into our imaginary world. and became a bit of meme, extending into culture with NFTs and a tie-in with MLB as Hoagiefest gave way to Schwarbfest during the Phillies run to the World Series on the back Kyle Schwarber, who slugged 20 homers during the promo.

Beach Trip

A modern family takes a timeless summer trip… to a beach that's just a little trippy. On display is the mix of product photography and animation used throughout the campaign. And, of course, a narwal.

Hungry Ghost

We knew that creating cute characters, not only out of our family, but from the supporting cast would help create storytelling opportunities.
