Teen adoption is a scary prospect to potential parents. They worry about the baggage that comes with teens who have been through foster care. The challenge was to defuse this anxiety and instill confidence, transforming the prospect of teen adoption from a terrifying decision into a fulfilling one. These spots, which Adweek described as “charming,” tell of the firsts that you still get to experience with an adopted teen.
We pulled the Firsts concept through to true storytelling by chronicling an adoptive family and the firsts they experience together. Our crew were flies on the walls for a bit and we used animation to visualize memories that were so important to the story, making a few eyes misty along the way.
